In normal mode however they do matter, every weapon has its pros and cons and every weapon has its useage in different aspects of combat. 'All upgraded weapons are viable and on fairly equal grounds.' are you speaking of normal weapons like attachments or T1 upgraded weapons? T1 upgraded weapon damage doesnt matter in the slightest unless you have said weapon at upgrade rank of 10 or higher and even then its not that much of a boost. Then again i pay a lot more attention to things then most people seem to. All weapons matter, while they might not be noticable for you, they are indeed noticable for me. I can see if maybe the characters that look like they have body armor on is resistant to damage, but im talking about the tank top wearing i can hit you with a 2 mac 10s from 100+ meters away enemies, Saying the stats are useless is like saying the weapons are useless and none of them matters when its the farthest thing from the truth.

Ive emptied half if not more of a 50 round mag from the m4a1 into people and they just stand there, when i use a rifle that has higher damage output it takes less rounds to put them down.

Accuracy helps reduce spread, handling means you dont bob up and down as much making longer ranged shots more effective, Range makes it so bullet drop doesnt have as big of an impact, as far as damage, thats debateable. They maybe wrong but that doesnt imply they are completely useless, ive tested then as well, so telling me people have tested them does what now for your comment? Nothing really.
